E’ noto a tutti quelli che mi conoscono che io non sono capace a fare i dolci, ma questo è facilissimo…..e poi Silvia lo ha guarnito in un modo spettacolare: con pasta di zucchero e fiori e farfalle
Ingredienti : (4 persone)
200 GR. DI BISCOTTI SECCHI
150 GR. DI BURRO
100 GR. DI ZUCCHERO
2 ROSSI DI UOVO
75 GR. DI CACAO IN POLVERE
50 GR. DI MANDORLE PELATE
1 BICCHIERE DI RUM
250 GR. DI PANNA MONTATA
sbriciolate i biscotti con le mani, aggiungete tutti gli altri ingredienti. Compattate bene il composto ( a mo’ di salame appunto) e lasciatelo riposare in frigo. Al momento di servirlo guarnitelo con panna montata.
Ingredients: (4 people)
200 GR. Dry biscuits
150 GR. BUTTER
100 GR. SUGAR
2 egg yolk
75 GR. COCOA POWDER
50 GR. Peeled almonds
A glass of rum
250 GR. Whipped cream
Crush the biscuits by hand, add all the three ingredients. Compacted this mixture to create a shape of salami and put in the refrigerator. Just before serving, garnish with whipped cream.
I made Flavia’s wonderful chocolate salami but didn’t have any rum so I used Cointreau instead! Tastes divine ! Almost as good as Flavia’s

My first visit to Hosteria Mattta turned out to be truly magical. To dine with friends in a stunning setting, in the mountains of the Italys most beautiful province was wonderful enough, but combine that with fabulous food, cooked perfectably using fresh local produce and you have heaven on earth.
Flavia goes out of her way to ensure every guest is made to feel like a special friend. It is not like eating in a restuarant , more like going to a dear friends family home for dinner.
Easily the best restaurant in Umbria,and quite possibly the whole of Italy !!!!!
